For Videographer
VERTICAL VIDEO GUIDANCE
PHONE & VIDEO SETTINGS
- Set video resolution to 4K at 60fps.
- Use a gimbal for all walking or moving shots.
- Use 0.5x ultra-wide lens for spacious room shots.
- Use 1.0x main lens for focused detail shots.
- Avoid 2.5x zoom – it reduces image quality.
- Manually focus and lock exposure before recording.
SHOOTING TECHNIQUE
- Walk slowly and steadily – stability is key.
- Maintain horizontal and vertical alignment – keep lines clean and natural.
- Always record a clear start and finish to each shot.
- Longer walking shots are valuable – they give us more editing flexibility.
- Reshoot if needed, but do not delete any takes – upload everything and we’ll sort it out.
- Include slider-type shots – place phone on countertop or furniture and slide to reveal features, no gimbal needed.
- Use handheld tilt or crane-style moves for dynamic vertical perspectives (e.g. top to bottom or vice versa).
COMPOSITION & SCENE FLOW
- Start with front exterior, then move to interior walkthrough, and end with backyard/exterior if available.
- Follow a natural sequence: entrance → living → kitchen → bedrooms → bathrooms → balcony/patio.
- In each area, capture a mix of wide → mid → detail shots.
- Include Airbnb-style cropped frames: partial bed views, countertops, shelves, framed windows, and cozy corners.
- Avoid fast pans, abrupt stops, or shaky movement – keep motion smooth and intentional.
- No open toilet seats, no trashcans, and no people in the shots.
DELIVERY
- Once done, upload full resolution files to the Repropix Dropbox folder provided.
- Make sure all clips are clearly named or placed in the correct property folder.
